Walan Miya courses are available to individuals and to organisations. As an individual you can choose to do a full qualification or a short course through your employer, or on your own. We tailor courses for employers to run in workplaces. We can run tailored short courses in workplaces or full qualification courses in both workplaces or at our training locations.

Short courses
We offer a range of fee-free short courses (skill sets) funded by the NSW Government under the Smart and Skilled Initiative. When you complete a short course you receive a Statement of Attainment for the Nationally Recognised Units of Competency in that skill set. Our short courses give you an introduction to an industry skill set and the chance to try out an area of study.
When you’re finished you can showcase your new skills on your resume or put your units toward a full qualification.

Full qualifications
We offer a wide range of full qualifications, subsidised by the NSW Government. Our full qualifications courses cover Certificate I through to Certificate IV qualifications in areas such as construction, agriculture, beekeeping, conservation and land management, local government, tourism and more!
