The Walan Miya Course Development Process
We take you through the same five step course development process for employers, no matter whether you need a one-off program or a complete workplace learning strategy.
Our team has the discipline, knowledge and real-world experience to guide you through planning and executing your vocational training requirements.
Phase 1: Meeting Up
Our team works with you to understand your workplace needs for:
• Full qualifications
• Implementation of new entrant traineeships
• Short course requirements for small groups
• Ongoing workforce solutions.
Phase 2: Mapping and terminology
We then work with you to identify and map current vocational and funding. We map out your internal terminology and present a clear understand any adjustments.
Additionally, the mapping from full qualifications for existing employees to pre-employment solutions rolling into traineeships or learning workforce strategies and solutions.
Phase 3: Draft agreements
Together we agree to the solutions needed and establish a training plan for putting in place an accredited training program.
Phase 4: Allocating or seeking funding
Often there is funding available through either Full Qualifications, Traineeship or Fee free short course options under our NSW Smart and Skilled contracts. We work with your team and the team at Training Services NSW to identify the most suitable program area.
Phase 5: Commencement of programs
We work with you through all the pre training commencement functions including enrolments and agreements to use workspaces, plant and equipment needs and making sure our trainers and assessors are well supported to deliver for your teams.
